Iavante, the Andalusian Public Foundation for Technological Advancement and Professional Training, belongs to the Ministry of Health of the Andalusian Regional Government. The main mission of this foundation is to facilitate and promote the development and comprehensive training of healthcare professionals using cutting edge teaching methodologies and to spearhead the development and innovation of new technologies applicable to the healthcare system, particularly ICTs.
In line with one of the main aspects of its mission, the Iavante Foundation is the managing body of Living Lab Salud Andalucía (LLSA). Headquartered in the Advanced Multifunctional Centre for Simulation and Technological Innovation (CMAT), located in Granada's Health Science Technology Park, Iavante is in charge of the coordination, outreach and management of this used-driven, open innovation network.
